Increase your bandwidth

Would you ever know that by default 20% of your bandwidth is reserved by Microsoft for their updates and other uses when installing windows. This may be the main cause for slow internet. Here i am to help you to get rid of this change the value of reserved bandwidth to 0. To do so follow the below steps

Go to Start->run->gpedit.msc

In group policy click computer configuration->administrative templates->network->QoS packet scheduler.
In the right side of the window double click “limit reservable bandwidth” and select enabled. Change the value from 20 to 0.

Then click ok.

Note: In Windows VISTA it is not configured. It is set to 0 by default.
